It's All In The Details

When we couldn't find high quality service, we set out to fill the void ourselves. Because we love to clean homes, we launched Details Residential Cleaning in 2006. We grew the business slowly at first in order to do it well: we strive to always do the right thing. Knowing the best service comes from a true partnership, we focus on customer service and ask for constant feedback. We put extra effort into details others neglect. We hire great employees and pay them better than they could find with any competitor. We have expanded our client base only as quickly as we could maintain our high quality service to them. Our new customers have come by and large via positive referrals from current customers.

Services We Offer

You Get What You Pay For

While we are by no means the most expensive, Details will not be your cheapest service provider. Excellent service takes a little more time and effort, and time is money. For example, when our cleaners spend more time in your home, they clean more items. Great employees require better wages. We will necessarily charge more than an independent contractor. Ask yourself this: does your independent cleaner or "one man show" hold insurance in case he/she breaks something valuable or gets hurt in your home? Does he/she use his/her own high quality equipment and products? Is he/she consistently reliable? Does he/she pay all proper taxes? Details takes care of these issues so you don't have to worry about them.

We Take Feedback Seriously

While we strive for exquisite perfection in our jobs, this is sometimes unrealistic. What sets Details apart is how we react to feedback and resolve issues promptly. We are listening, and we want to hear it all: the good and the bad.

Mike Newcome, Owner

Originally from White Bear Lake, Mike received a B.A. from the University of St. Thomas. For years, Mike built an extensive business background in sales, sales management, operations management, and venture capital, in which he garnered a reputation for hard work, high standards, and getting the job done. Not one to sit still for long, he grew bored with company office life and launched Details.

Mike's hobbies include spending time with his wife and toddler son, cleaning, organizing, and watching movies. For as long as he can remember, he has loved to clean and organize. Just ask his neighbors about the guy in the alley with the wet/dry vac!
